Iman Kassam is Canadian broadcast journalist with over 14 years of experience in radio, television, podcasting, and digital media. They have reported extensively on Indigenous issues, working with Native Communications and APTN National News before moving to CBC Radio and CTV News Montreal. Their work is rooted in ethical journalism and community engagement, shaped by nearly a decade covering devolution, land claims, land and water rights, and language revitalization. Iman’s SSHRC-funded Master’s research explores how Generation Z Canadians determine trust and credibility in the news, alongside research projects on mis/disinformation and the online harassment of journalists.
