The Midnight Choir: Our Weekly News Analysis Podcast

The world does not need another podcast.

I know this in my bones. We need more doctors, nurses and school teachers. I think we can do without another dude behind a microphone yelling into the void. 

And yet… with the most recent round of cuts at Bell Media, anglophones in Montreal are less and less likely to hear local news on the radio and in podcast form. And when a Conservative government eventually takes power in Ottawa, you’d better believe there will be cuts at CBC Montreal.

So here’s what we propose: THE MIDNIGHT CHOIR! A weekly podcast about the goings on in Montreal, Quebec and the R.O.C. hosted by me, my downstairs neighbour Isaac, and occasionally Rover Managing Editor Savannah. Not to mention a rotating crew of guests from Montreal and Quebec’s media scene!

Meanwhile… please subscribe to our YouTube channel for video versions of the podcast, short news videos and live music/culture (forthcoming). Once we reach 1,000 subscribers to the YouTube channel, Google starts promoting it and we start making actual money. Which we need to pay rent and buy roller-skates.
